Puede que a much@s os preocupe el cómo cambiará vuestra vida social cuando vengáis a Londres.
Es una ciudad grande donde cada persona va un poco a su aire y hacer amig@s de forma natural, puede no ser tan fácil.
Sobretodo, si no hablas el idioma a la perfección.

WhatsApp / FB Groups
Lo más común a la hora de conocer gente nueva, es unirte a un grupo de Facebook.
Yo no lo he utilizado pero sé que la mayoría de gente que es nueva en la ciudad, se conoce de esa manera.
En cuanto a los grupos de WhatsApp, para entrar tienes que conocer a alguien que ya esté en el grupo, por lo que es un poco más difícil entrar.
Yo, al venir de au pair, tuve la suerte de que la anterior au pair de la familia me metió en ese grupo de WhatsApp donde había au pairs de la zona.
Por ahí conocí a unos amig@s españoles. Una de ellas es Rocío, que es fotógrafa y me ha hecho estas fotos tan preciosas.

The most common thing to do in order to meet new people is to join a Facebook group.
I did not use it but I know that most new people in the city get to know another people that way.
Regarding the WhatsApp groups, it is a little more difficult to join, since you have to know someone that is already a member.
I was lucky because, as I came here as an au pair, the former au pair of the family, put me in an au pairs group.
There I met some Spanish friends. One of them, Rocío. She is a photographer and she was who took these amazing photos.

Recomendaciones
NO os limitéis a conocer gente que hable vuestro idioma nativo.
Sobre todo si habéis venido a Londres para aprender inglés. E incluso si ya sabéis inglés perfectamente, os recomiendo que os relacionéis también con gente inglesa y de otros países.
Lo bueno que tiene Londres es que encuentras gente muy variada y puedes aprender mucho sobre otros lugares y culturas.

DON’T confine yourself to only meet people that speak your native language.
Specially if you have come to London to learn English.
Even if you speak the language perfectly, I highly recommend you to interact with English and another nationalities people.
The good thing London has is that there is a very varied society with people from different countries and cultures which you can learn from.
